The Next Step Recovery House for Women is designed to
immerse residents in a supportive 12-step environment. Residents are required
to develop a personal 12-step program by obtaining a sponsor and attending
numerous AA/NA 12-step meetings throughout the week. Residents are also required
to attend mandatory onsite relapse prevention classes and house meetings.
Our program is open to adult women who
have been clean and sober for at least 30 days prior to admission
and women who come directly from a chemical dependency
treatment facility. Other situations will be taken into consideration and could be approved based on the discretion of the Director and staff.
To ensure Next Step Recovery maintains
a safe, substance-free living environment, we use state-of-the-art
random drug and alcohol screening.
Admission is strictly voluntary. Women join our transitional
living community because they are committed to working on
their own recovery and helping others do the same.
While admission to our community is
voluntary, participation in community is not. All residents
are expected to participate in daily chores, including meal
preparation, attend mandatory relapse prevention, life skills
classes, house meetings and maintain their 12-step commitments.
Our women’s recovery house is open
to adult females 18 years of age and over. We are not able
to accommodate women who are currently pregnant.
NOTE: We currently do not admit people taking narcotic pain medications, Suboxone or any other controlled substance. |
